By the Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela is a fragrance that feels characteristically smoky at it's exit however over time working its magic towards that exquisite sweetness like chestnuts and sweet wood and with the passage of time it sweetens even more and that balsamic chord appears and makes the smoky touch that predominated from the beginning subsides into a very different fragrance, a transition absolutely worth experiencing..

Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Orange Blossom and Cloves; Middle Notes: Juniper, Guaiac and Chestnut; Base Notes: Peru Balsam, Cashmeran and Vanilla.
